A Wedding MC (or master of ceremonies), acts as the ‘host’ of the reception, facilitating the event and making sure everything runs smoothly.
As your Wedding MC, I will assist with coordinating the wedding reception and ensure that speeches, meals and formalities are introduced, managed and, run on time.
Wedding MC duties may include the following:
Announce all housekeeping matters
Communicate with vendors
Wrangle guests as needed
Introduce the event, and engage the guests
Introduce the Wedding Party
Introduce the Couple
Introduce guests who are speaking (checking that photographer etc are in place)
Manage timing of speeches
Announce cake cutting
Present first dance
Gather guests for the farewell to the couple.
To ensure the day runs smoothly, a detailed running order will be created in conjunction with the vendors, and your MC.
Wedding MC Pricing
Standard Package From $500
The standard pricing for my Wedding MC services includes the following:
Two hours attendance at reception
Consultation and planning meetings prior to event
Running sheet and timings produced and shared with relevant stakeholders
Coordination of reception and liaison with vendors and wedding coordinator
Introduction of Wedding Party and other key guests
Managing and conducting all service of meal, in conjunction with venue
Introducing speakers and managing timing of speeches
Coordination of cake cutting
Introduction of first dances
I am also very happy to provide advice on how to manage speeches and speakers, including content, timing, choice of speakers etc.
